Checkups & Hygiene

The foundation of a healthy smile. Our gentle hygiene team uses ultrasonic tools to make your cleaning efficient and comfortable. We focus on preventing issues before they start, leaving your teeth feeling fresh and polished without the lecture.

Emergency Dentistry

In pain? Don't wait. Whether it's a sudden toothache, a broken tooth, or an accident, we prioritize same day appointments to get you out of pain fast. We’re here to help you when you need us most, with no judgment, just relief.

Root Canal Therapy

Save your natural tooth and stop the pain. Despite the myths, modern root canal therapy is often as straightforward as getting a filling. We use advanced technology to remove the infection and preserve your tooth, getting you back to normal life quickly.

Cavity Repair & Fillings

Stop decay and restore your tooth’s strength. We use durable, tooth colored composite materials that blend seamlessly with your natural smile. It’s a simple, quick way to repair damage and protect your tooth from future sensitivity.

Sleep Apnea Solutions

Tired of snoring or waking up exhausted? It might be more than just poor sleep. We offer custom fitted oral appliances, a comfortable and silent alternative to CPAP machines, to help you (and your partner) finally get the restful night's sleep you deserve.

Gentle Tooth Removal

Sometimes, removing a tooth is the best step for your overall health. Whether it's a wisdom tooth or a damaged molar, we prioritize your comfort with sedation options and a gentle touch. We’ll also walk you through easy replacement options so you aren't left with a gap.

TMJ & Jaw Pain Relief

Living with jaw clicking, headaches, or grinding? You don't have to just deal with it. We diagnose the root cause of your jaw pain and provide custom therapies, from night guards to bite adjustments, to help you chew, speak, and relax comfortably again.

Children’s Dentistry

We know that early dental visits set the stage for a lifetime of healthy teeth. Children's dentistry in Cochrane at Spray Lake Dental is all about making kids feel comfortable, keeping appointments short and positive, and giving parents the guidance they need to care for growing smiles at home.

Senior Dental Care

As we get older, our teeth, gums, and medical needs naturally change. Senior dental care in Cochrane at Spray Lake Dental focuses on helping you stay comfortable, maintain good nutrition, and enjoy the social side of life—laughing, talking, and smiling—at every age.

Night Guards & Sports Protection

Protect your smile while you sleep or play. Whether you wake up with headaches from grinding your teeth or need protection on the field, we create custom fitted guards just for you. They are comfortable, durable, and far more effective than the one size fits all options from the store.

Mark T.Emergency Patient

I woke up with the worst toothache on a Saturday and was panicking because my usual place was closed. Called Spray Lake and they got me in like 2 hours later. Dr. Cheba was super nice and fixed me up right away. Didn't even feel the needle. So relieved to have a dentist actually open on weekends.

Sarah J.Children's Dentistry

Took my 4 year old here for her first checkup and I was super nervous she would cry. The staff was amazing with her, they put on cartoons and gave her a little toy after. She actually asked when we can go back lol. Great spot for families in Cochrane, definitely making this our regular clinic.

Chris B.Sedation Dentistry

I haven't been to a dentist in like 6 years because I hate it so much. I finally went here because my wife made me and I’m glad I did. I used the sedation stuff and honestly didn't care about a thing the whole time. If you are scared of the dentist go see Dr. Nonkovic, he’s super chill and doesn't lecture you.

Emily R.New Patient Experience

Just moved to Sunset Ridge and needed a new cleaning spot. The office is super nice, right across from the rec centre. The hygienist was really gentle which was a nice change. No upselling or pressure to buy stuff I don't need. Direct billing made it super easy too.

Jason W.Dental Implants

Finally decided to fix my missing tooth and get an implant. Dr. Ashish explained everything so I actually understood what was happening. The surgery was way easier than I thought and it looks just like my real tooth. Really happy with the work and the price was fair.

Priya K.New Patient Experience

My whole family switched here recently and we love it. The front desk ladies are so friendly and actually remember your name. Dr. Cheba is very detailed and gentle, even with my deep cleaning. It feels very high end inside but the prices are the same as everywhere else. Highly recommend!

Common Questions

We know you might have questions about your visit, and we believe clarity is key to comfort. Whether you’re curious about insurance or what happens during an exam, our team is here to help you feel fully prepared for your appointment.

How often should I really be coming in for a cleaning?

For most patients, we recommend a visit every six months. This timeline allows us to catch small issues before they become big ones and remove plaque that brushing at home can’t reach. However, if you have gum health concerns, we might suggest a slightly more frequent schedule to keep your smile on track.

What counts as a dental emergency?

If you are in pain, it is an emergency to us. Common signs include a severe toothache, a knocked-out or broken tooth, or swelling in your jaw. Please do not tough it out. Call us immediately so we can get you out of pain and back to your life as quickly as possible.

On Root Canals (The "Fear" Question)

This is one of the biggest myths in dentistry! With modern technology and anesthetics, a root canal is often no more uncomfortable than getting a standard filling. Our goal is to get you out of pain, not cause it. We will make sure you are completely numb and comfortable before we start.

Do you use metal or white fillings?

We primarily use tooth-colored composite fillings. These modern materials bond directly to your tooth for strength and blend seamlessly with your natural enamel. You can laugh and smile with confidence knowing your fillings are virtually invisible.

How can a dentist help with my snoring?

Snoring is often caused by your airway becoming partially blocked while you sleep. We can provide a custom oral appliance that gently positions your jaw forward to keep your airway open. It is small, silent, and comfortable, making it a great alternative for patients who struggle with CPAP machines.

Will I be awake during my tooth extraction?

Your comfort is our top priority. We offer sedation options to help you relax during the procedure. Most patients feel only pressure, not pain. We will discuss all your sedation choices during your consultation so you can choose the level of relaxation that feels right for you.

Why does my jaw click when I chew?

Clicking or popping is a common sign of TMJ dysfunction, which often stems from teeth grinding or a misaligned bite. While it might not hurt now, it can lead to wear and headaches later. We can evaluate your jaw function and create a custom night guard or therapy plan to protect your joints.

Do you direct bill to my insurance company?

Yes, we are happy to direct bill most insurance plans for your convenience. We know dental benefits can be confusing, so our administrative team will handle the paperwork for you and help you understand exactly what your plan covers before treatment begins.

We can’t wait to meet you.
